The last week of school was a wild and crazy one, but oh-so-much fun! On Field Day, I was able to go and help/watch, which was such a treat for me. Jaimason had a blast! Since it's so hot here, the kids are allowed to wear their swimsuits on Field Day (if they want), and they have a bunch of water activities. If you stick your tongue out, water won't splash you as much, you know...

Or if you stick out your tongue, your slingshot will work better...

And if you stick out your tongue, you can throw farther and harder!

Jaimason and David

Jaimason's favorite activity was one where they had to run across a pool of "goo" without sinking. If they didn't run fast enough, they were stuck! On the way home from school, Jaimason said it was just like when Jesus and Peter walked on the water, except they didn't have to go fast because they had enough faith.

A few days later, he had his Kinder program and awards ceremony.
Here's a clip from one of his songs:

It got a little confusing to watch because half the kids were about 3 seconds ahead (or behind...however you want to look at it), so it just sounded like a bunch of noise. But the dancing was really cute!

A few days after THAT was the last day of school. Jaimason is going to miss his class and friends so much, but he's hoping to see them again next year....as a FIRST GRADER!
