Jack Ingram Concert

On Saturday, June 18, we went to the Jack Ingram concert with our friends, Jeff and Emily Heaps. They are such fun people to do things with.


The concert was outdoors at the Dell Diamond, the weather was great, the music was good, we were with good friends, and best of all, we were childless (except baby, but she hardly counts)...we had a great time! This is about the best picture any of us got of Jack Ingram playing:
After the concert, we sat around chatting for a while, so we were some of the last people to leave. Consequently, we got a face-to-face with Jack Ingram himself! We totally embarrassed ourselves because we weren't sure if it was really him, so Emily told him. I wasn't sure exactly what she had said and thought she told him we didn't know it was him, so I tried to compensate by saying: "Yeah, well, you got a haircut, didn't you?" as if I was a personal friend of his! Ben, Emily, and Jeff all died laughing at my humiliating comment. Poor Jack Ingram, approached by yet another group of crazies!
