Pumpkin carving has always been a fun tradition in our house. This year was no exception. We forgot to charge our batteries for the electric carvers, though, so we had to do all the sawing by elbow grease (*gasp!). That being said, we got some pretty intricate details on some of the pumpkins.
Jaimason did everything this year, all by himself, start to finish. He scooped it out, shaved the insides, planned the design, punched the design, and carved it. He really did an excellent job! This is his masterpiece:
Maleah participated in all the action, too...right down to tasting the pumpkin guts. She decided they weren't the best thing to eat, but that they sure were fun to squish and fling across the kitchen!
