For Ben's birthday yesterday, he went golfing with his good friend, Jeff. Since we live on the golf course and the 7th green is in our backyard, we got to go outside and watch them play that hole....and take pictures of course. They got assigned to play with a single player, so that's who the guy in the yellow shirt is.
After golf, we just had a pretty lazy day around home. We are always busy and running errands on Saturdays, and Ben sometimes just wants to hang out at home, so that's what we did. For dinner, we had Cafe Rio casserole (my own creation, copying the meat and sauce from a favorite restaurant in Utah called Cafe Rio).

Ben--26 Years Young
Maleah just wanted to play with the wrapping paper.
Pretty simple. Getting older sometimes means getting more boring, but that's how we like it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BEN! Love you!
For dessert, he requested probably one of the most decadent things you'll ever see or eat, but it was sooooo good! It was Reese's Cheesecake Brownies: a layer of fudge brownies, topped with a peanut butter cheesecake layer with Reese's pieces inside, topped with a layer of chocolate ganache, sprinkled with a layer of chopped Reese's cups. YUM!
