Shaunelle got meningitis the day we left for home from Oregon. She wound up in the hospital that very night (after driving 15 hours in a small, cramped car). Meningitis is an infection in your brain and spinal cord that's very dangerous and very contagious. Luckily, she got the better of the 2 most common kinds, viral meningitis. She was in a lot of pain, but recovered well and is doing fine without too much brain damage (Haha).
