Deck the Halls!

We spent family night decorating our Christmas tree. Jaimason was extremely excited, he has been anticipating this event for about a week now but we haven't found the time until now. It was fun to pull out all of the old ornaments and remember when we got them. Both of our families had the tradition of giving us each an ornament every Christmas and we have continued the tradition in our family. It's fun to look back on our years growing up and the significant events that each ornament marks for us. Jaimason had fun while we told him the story behind each of his ornaments. We had a heck of a time trying to explain to Jaimason that just because we were decorating the tree doesn't mean that it is time to open presents! He is convinced that every day is "Christmas time". I can't believe that Christmas is right around the corner, it seems to creep up faster each year. I hope we can all take this time of year to reflect on our many blessings and to serve those around us.
