Christmas at the Trenholm House--Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas this year at home, which was stress-free and relaxing. We loved it! Ben got to take the week before AND after Christmas off, so we had plenty of time to do family stuff.

On Christmas eve, the children opened one present each...Christmas jammies, of course!

Then we spent some time reading the Nativity story out of the scriptures. As dad read the story, Jaimason acted it out with the figurines from one of our nativities.
This picture reminds me of my dad. He wore a Santa hat when he read the Nativity story, too.

Christmas Eve is a special night for our family. We love to read about the birth of the Savior and spend time together eating treats, setting out cookies for Santa, and sprinkling magic reindeer food on the front yard.
