So, we went to Colorado this year for Thanksgiving to spend time with Ben's family. We had a really good, relaxing time there. It's always nice to get away from everyday life for a while (even if you are still thinking about what you have to do back at home!).
On Wednesday, we went to see Madagascar 2. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it! It's very funny! Lots of good one-liners. Jaimason was belly-laughing the whole way through...one of my favorite sounds in the world!
Thursday was, of course, Thanksgiving. Aunt Colleen and Uncle Craig and their two girls, Jessica and Rebeka, came over to spend the day with us (Everybody else was away). The table was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the pictures were bad (bad lighting, sorry). But here are some from that day:
Olive fingers!
The next day, we basically sat around and let our food digest. That is,
everybody except Grandpa and Jake and Jaimason.
They were busy having a war.
We were trying to avoid the Black Friday crowds! Good thing we did...I heard it was brutal. We watched the CU--Nebraska game at Grandma Cowley's. Good game, and we ("we" being CU, of course) almost won, too, if they hadn't caught an interception and ran it for a touchdown with 2 minutes left to go! Oh well.
Saturday, we went to a fun place called Fit For Fun. The boys had lots of fun running around, getting their energy out.
All too soon, we had to leave and come back to Utah. But it was fun. Thanks, Mom and Dad and Jake, for letting us celebrate the holiday with you!
