Pumpkin Patch Time!

We had a really great time at the pumpkin patch last year, so we decided to go again this year.

Maleah LOVED the goats. She was practically climbing the fences, trying to get as close to the goats as she could. We bought some food for the kids to feed them, and she was in hog heaven! But instead of putting it on her flat palm to feed them like she was supposed to, she would pinch one piece of food in between her thumb and forefinger and encourage the goat to somehow get it out. Consequently there was a lot of licking going on!

We went through a children's corn maze and Maleah loved that, too. She just toddled after Jaimason as fast as she could go. Jaimason spent the whole time trying to get us lost, but we made it out unscathed despite his best efforts. At the middle of the maze, there's a bell to ring. Maleah thought she was pretty hot stuff because she could reach it to ring it.

They have acres of beautiful flowers you can pick. We didn't pick any, but the kids had fun walking through the paths and smelling them.

We also rode a hayride, looked at other animals, ate homemade pumpkin ice cream, rode a fire truck, and picked pumpkins, of course!

Happy Fall!!
