2 months later, we have something to blog about: Valentine's Day! Yay! And oh, what a day it was! 10:00 am. The day starts with Ben heading off to work while Shaunelle works around the house to catch up on 3 months worth of laundry, dishes, and mopping.
2:00 pm. We celebrated our love by running errands together and bickering incessantly at Wal-Mart from the stress of all the people. Ben made a joke that we need to apologize to each other BEFORE we enter that store for any events that transpire while we're in there. That place is a madhouse, and it turns us mad!
5:00 pm. After 3 hours of buying the necessities of life, we came home to happily put away the groceries, shovel the walk and the monstrous driveway in the biting cold, and go to the library to return our almost-overdue books.
6:00 pm: Now THIS is when the REAL fun begins! Instead of overpaying for a babysitter and fighting the crowds to go to dinner while we pretend we're blissfully in love, we decide to have Family Date Night. This consists of eating pizza while watching a movie. Pizza of choice: heart-shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's Take and Bake. Movie of choice: Wall-E that we got from the library.
Shaunelle is so worn out by all the outpouring of love that she falls asleep halfway through the movie while Ben and Jaimason slap her to keep her awake. Happy Valentine's Day to all!
